The workshop includes hacking into intentionally vulnerable websites. Guided by cheat sheets and on-site "ninjas", you will become immersed in a “Bug Hunting" challenge where you can quickly learn and apply hacking techniques in a sandboxed environment - and all the while, acquire the skills needed to keep data safe. The sites contain more than 150 vulnerabilities, including the OWASP Top 10.
As a participant, you will simulate attacks like:
Participants will take the reins in an expert-guided training session leveraging cheat sheets, attack tables, mini-labs, and breakout sessions to learn how hackers break into websites using common vulnerabilities, insecure practices (like weak passwords) and more!
On Day 1, participants learn the concepts of application security and the methods to identify the loopholes in the application and on Day 2 participants will use this knowledge during the hands-on practical session to break into vulnerable sites hosted on our sandboxed environment.
